Linux is a 32/64 bit Unix.
In this section you'll find useful information, tips, and tricks I've
learned since I started running it around the end of 1995; as well as any
custom utilities or programs either I or my friends have come up with.
I'm a computer engineer, and I'm one of those people obsessed with speed,
but I also have a very economical side. I like fooling with program to get
the most out of them WITHOUT spending more money on faster/hideously
expensive hardware. A lot of what I like doing involves parallelizing
existing code to take full advantage of the hardware it's running on. Click
here to find out some of my current projects and their status.
I've tried to keep myself well rounded in my education, and I spend a lot
of time thinking about Life, the Universe and Everything, Here are a
collection of some of my ramblings. Feel free to comment if you wish, I'm
always interested in feedback, criticisms whatever. This stuff tends to be
non-computer related.. for computer related ramblings, look up.
