What's New 1998

• Hello! Sorry to dissapoint everyone, but no big update is being announced. I have had very little time recently to work on my page. I will when I get the opportunity. Just hang in there. I did get some help with the German translation of my page if you are interested in that. A much bigger re-write of everything might happen over Christmas break, so stay posted.

• The update you've all been waiting for! I got a chance to update my page!
• Finally updated my German version of my page. I avoided doing this because someone from austria had done the translation for me, and my german skills are slowly rusting. In any case, if any of you reading this speak german feel free to correct the many mistakes I am sure I made.
• Cleaned up some old stuff from my directory. Most people shouldn't notice as they weren't directly linked. Just clearing up some space for my 7.5 disk quota [which holds these pages as well as my e-mail and any other random stuff I have out here].
• Updated my schedule for fall of 1998 so everyone can laugh at how hard my classes are.
• Removed the vmw_thought page. I never updated it and nothing exciting was ever said that. To get ramblings from me either read this change file, check out my JC page, or just contact me directly [my talker or e-mail being the best ways]. If I get a chance I might resurrect the feature at some future point.
• Updated my Lynx Bookmarks for those who are interested in web-sites I frequent.
• In the continuing "HTML Downsizing" I am doing I removed my anti-microsoft page. Other places have done it much better and with better authority [click on the "Boycott Microsoft" button at my main page for an example]. In any case there is no need to detract from MS; their actions speak for themselves. Anyone who has been enlightened already hates MS; those still under the cloud of marketing hype cannot be convinced. In any case the downfall of MS is imminent; VIVA LINUX!
• Re-did my Linux page. It is a lot less confusing and preachy now, though more vague.
• That's about all for today. The next time I get a chance I'll recurse down some sub-directories and clean them up a bit as well

• Sorry for all of you who check my pages regularly; I've been quite occupied with other things. I hope you've been having a nice summer [or winter if you live in the southern hemisphere].
• One main note; I have gotten the web-page address http://www.vince.weaver.org and the e-mail address vince@weaver.org. Pretty neat, eh? They should be still around after I graduate from UMCP so if you update your bookmarks now you won't lose me then ;) All they do is forward you to my current site.
• When I get a chance I will revamp some of my pages. Those getting redone will be the MCASC [squirrel] page, the Anti-ms page, and the linux page. I'll post here as they get done.
• Last, but not least, if you use my linux_logo program there's a new version, 2.05, so check it out.

• Well summer's been quite busy so far. Back at work and all that.
• I have updated my JC page to include a report on the class of 1998's graduation. That might be the last update on that page for a while....
• I have also updated versions of some of my Linux software at my VMW Software page if you are here for that reason.

• Going home for the summer! I survived the school year mostly unscathed. Alas, my dorm-computer will be off the net, so no more guestbook, movie, etc, until late august.....

• Sorry for the lack of updates. Trying to get things all together and try to pull my grades up to higher levels has taken a lot of effort. Hopefully it is enough ;)
• I went to Prom! A very brief review is at My JC Page.

• Hey! Yes it was about time for an update. I have been SO SO busy recently it's not funny. The only main thing you'll notice is a new picture on the main screen. Yep, that's it. I have added a few links here and there, and some of my Linux Utilities have changed, but besides that there's nothing new of note. I visited JC, but it was such a bland visit that theres nothing to say. Look forward for a nice report on Prom though ;) And then graduation ;) And then I probably won't head back there as often anymore....

• Well some tidbits for those of you who like checking to see if I've added anything. I have a new poem I wrote today. Not as polished as my others maybe, but it describes how I felt when I was writing it. I also liked making the rhymes.
• Also for those of you Linux people who frequent my pages... I have released a REALLY cool new version of Tom Bombem [my game] for ggi-linux.. [to those using Windows.. you might get a version before Summer.. no promises though]. This version has sound, story, and is almost as good as the old dos version. Get it here

• I had some time and updated my Dorm Page [the page on my dorm computer]It's mainly just new graphics, but check it out anyway ;)

• Happy Valentines Day! I had fun at JC's valentines dance.. read a little about it at my JC Page.
• I also had a nice birthday... I am getting too old.

• My birthday is tomorrow... don't worry.. there's still time to send me presents.
• Updated my linux_logo program to fix some new bugs and probably add more. check it out at my VMW Software Page.

• Updated my VMW Software Productions Page. I have also released new versions of my LINUX_LOGO and FPRINT programs, for any of you out there that use linux [both can be linked off the aforementioned page].
• Anyway schoolwork is MUCH MUCH harder than last semester... its gonna cut back on my web-page working time. So sorry if I don't update it frequently enough for you........
• My birthday is a week from today, Friday the 13th... you still have time to send a card ;)
