Day 18 - Ithaca NY to Sandwich MA
Day 18 - 4 July 2006 - Tuesday
On this day Kristina and I rested and recovered from our long trip.
The Ithaca Journal had somehow not held our paper, luckily
the neighbor watering our plants had brought them in. We were shocked
and the horrible flooding (including the washout of I-88) that had
happened in our absence.
Kristina's family left early, in an attempt to get Kristina's sister
back to the Cape in time to be with friends on the Fourth. So
they left, and made it safely back to Massachusetts (taking a detour
around the damaged section of I-88).
