Apples, Fillmore Glen

K's parents came to visit, so of course we had to drag them to both the Book Sale and to get apples.

The apples at Baker's Acres were huge this year:

We also went to Grisamore Farms to see how their apples were. While there we took a quick detour through the Corn Maze:

They even had raspberries left, that's how warm it has been.

Since we were in the neighborhood, we decided to go to Fillmore Glen State Park. K and I had been there earlier in the summer and had walked the whole way up to the dam, but water was low.

Here is the waterfall under low water conditions:

And with more water:

Here is the Cowshed Overhang, with the sign everyone seems to ignore:

Here is a cool semi-circular mini-waterfall:

Here is a nice falls much further upstream:

This is a tree growing in an unlikely spot:

Here part of the wall collapsed, temporarily blocking the stream:

Tucker likes looking at waterfalls too, when he isn't running way ahead and up sheer cliffs:

And finally, here is a replica of a concept of what the cabin Millard Fillmore was born in might have looked like: Fillmore Cabin
