Coy Glen - August 2006
After an extremely hot end of July, mid-August was unseasonably cold.
This change in the weather made both Kristina and I happy.
This weekend we went to
Coy Glen, which is
one of the lesser-known glens in Ithaca. Note that Coy Glen is
a protected area, administered by Cornell, and you may need special
permission before going there.
There were numerous waterfalls the entire way down the glen. There was no trail
to speak of, we walked down the creek-bed, jumping across the stream when necessary.
