German Trip Day 8: 30 April 2010
We woke up early (as is tradition) because it was a two hour drive to
the Frankfurt airport and we had to get there early for an international
flight. We had no problem getting through, though the US Airways
terminal is not very well designed.
They did have the only drinking fountain that we saw on our whole trip.
It's such an alien concept they had to label it in
multiple languages:
The only thing better than finding a new mentos flavor is finding
giant, duty-free, novelty-sized mentos flavors:
The flight home was uneventful, though they didn't really feed us
enough. Despite getting in early, it took over 45 minutes to get our
luggage back, squashing any hopes we had of getting an earlier
flight back to Knoxville.
We did finally make it home, and E was glad to see us (though she
was mainly just smiling behind her pacifier, as it was after her
bedtime).
And that ends our German trip. I'm still recovering from jet-lag,
which always takes me a while unfortunately.
