I used to have a rabidly anti-microsoft page here. I felt it accomplished
nothing. Looking back it seemed immature. So I took it down. A while
later, I got an e-mail. Apparently someone searching for "Microsoft
Alternatives" found my page, and tried Linux because of it! So it was not
all in vain. So I shall try to again put some helpful material here.
